For generations, our family has been the quiet custodian of a living tradition — the upasana of Bhuvaneswari Devi, the inner form of Kodungallur Bhagavathy. She was the upasana moorthi of our forefather Nandielath Govindamman: the deity whose name he chanted at dawn, whose presence he wore at dusk, and whose voice he became when the oracle spoke.
